I replay words,
I study pauses,
I question laughter,
I search meanings.
What did you mean?
Why did you smile?
Was there something,
Left unsaid?
I build answers,
Then doubt them,
I read between,
Every little line.
I want clarity,
I want closeness,
I want somewhere,
My heart belongs.
But endless questions,
Cannot create certainty,
And imagined meanings,
Cannot promise love.
Sometimes silence,
Is simply silence,
Not hidden messages,
Not secret promises.
I deserve conversations,
That feel peaceful,
Not endless puzzles,
To solve alone.
