I see a future,
You see a friend,
I hold hope,
You just smile.
I imagine mornings,
I imagine home,
I imagine us,
Never alone.
Your smallest kindness,
Becomes my sunrise,
Your passing words,
Become promises.
I keep waiting,
I keep believing,
Perhaps tomorrow,
You’ll choose me.
I crave belonging,
A place beside you,
But hope can bloom
Where nothing grows.
Is this faith,
Or fear of leaving?
I deserve love,
That chooses me.
