The real obstacle is subtle. Spiritual knowledge easily becomes identity. Identity seeks recognition. Recognition strengthens the ego. The search continues under a sacred name. Nothing essential changes. The language becomes refined. Ignorance remains untouched.
Jupiter in the 8th house ultimately asks a simple question. Is wisdom increasing? Or is information increasing? The difference decides the direction of the journey. Hidden teachings have value. Astrology has value. Tantra has value. Their purpose is not endless study. Their purpose is the dissolution of the one who believes liberation can be possessed like knowledge.
